This hiking activity lasts one day, starts from Puerto Nariño, and you walk approximately 4 kilometers through the high jungle, there you spend the night in the middle of the jungle and at night you do a night walk that allows us to see how the animals go to drink the precious liquid that revitalizes them. Then return the next day, arriving in Puerto Nariño at noon.
This thrilling expedition includes a night boat ride to observe caimans in their natural habitat and a unique overnight jungle experience, sleeping in hammocks set up near (but safely away from) caiman nesting areas. All under the guidance of two experienced native jungle guides.
Along the trail, you'll have the opportunity to spot a fascinating variety of species, including 🐍 tree boas (Boa constrictor), 🦎 iguanas and forest lizards, 🐸 poison dart frogs (Dendrobatidae), 🐢 side-neck turtles and river turtles, 🕷️ giant tarantulas and forest spiders, and 🦗 colorful grasshoppers and jungle insects — all in their natural habitat.
